InstantNavigator is an add-in for Microsoft OneNote that instantly brings you to the notes you want, as just you are typing their titles.
Scenario:
1. Click the "Go" tool button
2. Type any part of a note title you wish to go to
3. As you type, the list is being updated with matched elements
4. Choose desired note using the UP/DOWN cursor keys
5. Press ENTER
Don't think WHERE is the note you want to go to, just think WHAT is the note.
Additional features:
1. Tree search
Use / or \ for tree search. For example:
- search pattern "work/" displays all items within notebooks having "work" substring
- "work/proj" displays all items matched to "proj" within notebook/section matched to "work"
2. AND/OR Modifiers
Use the | separator as an OR modified. For example:
"john | jack" displays all items matched to "john" or "jack"
The Ctrl+Shift+| shortcut sets OR mode.
Use the & separator as an AND modifier. For example:
"john & jack" displays only the items matched to "john" and "smith" substrings.
The Ctrl+Shift+& shortcut sets AND mode.
The Ctrl+| shortcut toggle AND/OR modes.
